HAVE YOU HAD YOUR MAMMOGRAM?
The earlier that breast cancer is found, the better the chances of surviving it, and screening mammograms are used to find breast cancer before it is seen or felt.
Breastscreen Australia is the national breast screening program, with services in every state and territory. There are more than 750 Breastscreen locations nationwide, including mobile vans, buses and 4WDS.
Women aged between 50 and 74 are actively invited to have a free mammogram every two years, while women aged 40 to 49 should talk to their doctor about whether breast screening is right for them.
