Reality TV’S favourite family has plenty to celebrate in 2023
Another Fren family wedding is in the works, after Victoria announced she’s engaged to her partner of 12 years, Nathan. The 29-year-old Travel Guides star showed off her new round-cut diamond sparkler on social media and told followers, “And Just Like That I just said yes to my partner of 12 years Nathan,” she wrote, adding, “We are so excited.”
And the TV favourite’s friends and family were quick to congratulate the soon-to-be-weds.
“I just want to celebrate now!!” commented Victoria’s sister-in-law Danielle Fren, 31, who wed Victoria’s brother and co-star Jono Fren, 31, in 2021.
“So happy,” commented the Logie winner’s parents Cathy and Mark, adding it was set to be the “wedding of the year”.
“Wonderful... congratulations darling!” The Block’s Mitch and Mark added.
Given the globetrotting nature of Victoria’s TV gig, there’s no doubt the star, who has been on the unscripted Nine show since it started in 2017, will be keen for a destination wedding – and she’ll certainly have her pick with the famous family just wrapping up filming on the new season.

When it comes to planning the big day, Victoria will be getting plenty of tips from Jono and Danielle, who even roped in former Married At First Sight and I’m A Celebrity star Ryan Gallagher to be their MC for the night!
As for getting stressed about the big day, it’s unlikely the famously unflappable Fren family will be succumbing to any diva meltdowns.
Despite describing themselves as a bit bonkers, they always manage to see the lighter side of every situation.
“We thought we were nuts,” admits mum Cathy of their initial foray onto reality TV. “I kept on saying, ‘I can’t believe people think we’re normal!’ We just like to say what we think. There are no airs or graces.”
And there will be no prouder parents than Cathy and Mark on the big day.
“They were beautiful children and were spoiled rotten,” Cathy reminisces of her kids’ childhood. “Jonathon has always been quiet and was an excellent student. Victoria was beautiful until she was about 15, and then went totally wild until she was about 21.”
