INSIDE THE CRAZIEST FIRST WEEK EVER
CHEATING SCANDAL... ON DAY ONE!
While MAFS is no stranger to a cheating saga, never in its 10 seasons has it happened on day one – at a wedding! Sources spill to Woman’s Day that Wa-based bride Bronte is shocked to learn her groom had a girlfriend – right up until the night before he left to film the show! We hear a guest on the bride’s side – who is also a friend with the groom’s alleged girlfriend – alerts her to his dodgy history and then all hell breaks loose… before the cake is cut!
CAST GONE ROGUE
We’re usually halfway through the season before we start to see the cast flog teeth whitening strips and protein shakes online, but the latest crop were apparently already securing endorsement deals long before the cameras started rolling. According to an on-set spy, the cast had to be given a stern warning by Nine producers for what they called a serious “breach of their contracts”, and were told they were making the show “look like a joke”.
WEDDING DRUG OVERDOSE!
It truly was almost “till death do us part” for one couple, after an ambulance was called following an alleged “drug-related incident” at their Byron Bay wedding. Speaking to the media, a source claims the ambulance was called “in response to an incident relating to drug use of one of the guests at the wedding”.
EXPERTS FEUD
Could a feud be brewing among the show’s three experts – Mel Schilling, Alessandra Rampolla and John Aiken? A source tells Woman’s Day that all has not been well with the trio following the hiring of Alessandra, 48, last year, with Mel, 51, now focusing on the UK version after moving there last year. Rumours first emerged when John, 52, took to Instagram to promote an official MAFS podcast he was starring in with Alessandra – with an image of Mel cropped out. Ouch!
ONE CONTROVERSIAL BRIDE...
Before Victorian bride Claire was able to walk down the aisle she managed to stir up some real drama this season – and not all is due to what will play out on screen!
Several well-placed sources have come forward to Woman’s
Day to reveal the show’s production company had multiple phone calls from people claiming to know the 31-year-old kindergarten assistant and campaigning against her inclusion in the show! Talk about enemies...
