Save a thought for Gwyneth Paltrow’s infamous body part candle – the Duchess of Sussex is planning to blow it out of the water with her newly announced lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard and give the original lifestyle gurus a run for their money!

MARTHA 2.0?

Enamoured with the ritzy, glitzy footsteps of lifestyle gurus Gwyneth and Martha Stewart who have come before her, Meghan, 42, has tentatively relaunched her influencer era, dropping the rst promo video for her new brand on March 14, which earned her a veri ed blue tick and almost 600,000 followers on Instagram.

According to the Daily Mail, Meghan wants to take on “Martha Stewart, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ina Garten and play them at their own game” and plans to launch a brand more “accessible” than Goop.

‘She’s been working on this for over a year’

“She would have to be relatable and natural... the way Drew Barrymore is, it can’t feel contrived or like she’s acting,” adds the source. e real inspiration behind her bold venture, though, is said to be the doyenne of lifestyle content Martha, whose recent posts include “How to grow a tapestry lawn” and “How to clean your broom”. ese life lessons hark back to Meghan’s pre-prince Harry days, which saw her launch lifestyle website e Tig.

“I am attered,” said Martha when told of Meghan’s admiration. e 82-year-old advised the former actress to “produce good products that work and will help the homemaker have a nice life.

That’s what it’s all about.”

And while it’s unlikely Meghan will be calling her father-in-law for advice, she could learn a thing or two from the King’s Highgrove website, which caught onto the commercial aspect of country living a few years back.

Not afraid to earn a buck or two, Charles, 75, sells everything from $725 corduroy gilets for country gentlemen to $13.50 teabags – a princely price for pouring a cuppa.

Insiders say Meghan is also cooking up a new Net ix series, which she’s expected to start lming in the next few weeks.

e show will tie into the launch of her new brand perfectly – part of the multimillion-dollar deal the Sussexes signed in 2020.

A source previously told Page Six, which rst broke the news

of the show last month, that the new endeavour will centre around her love for all things home, garden and food, and act as a revamp for her old blog, e Tig.

“She’s been working on this for over a year and it’s all the things that are close to her heart – all the things she’s passionate about,” an insider con rmed.
