Los tacos

A cinch to as­sem­ble, great for feed­ing hun­gry crowds or smash­ing solo. Tuck in!

Turn taco Tues­day into a flavour fes­ti­val with 10 fab new mouth­wa­ter­ing ideas

¼ av­o­cado, mashed ½ clove gar­lic, very finely chopped Fresh lime juice Salt and freshly ground black pep­per 1 jalapeno, sliced Cou­ple of slices of red onion ¼ cooked chicken breast, sliced, or left­over roast chicken 1 tbs black beans ½ hand­ful shred­ded pur­ple cab­bage

1. Mix the av­o­cado, gar­lic, lime juice and sea­son­ing to­gether to make gua­camole. Spread it on the taco.

2. Top with the rest of the in­gre­di­ents and then en­joy ev­ery bite!

½ hand­ful shred­ded let­tuce ⅛ av­o­cado, sliced ⅓ cooked chicken breast, sliced, or left­over roast chicken

4–5 thin red or or­ange cap­sicum slices 1 es­chalot, sliced Basil leaves Driz­zle of sriracha sauce

1. Start­ing with the let­tuce, layer the rest of the top­pings on the

taco in the or­der above, end­ing with a gen­er­ous driz­zle of sriracha.

Start by mix­ing the av­o­cado, gar­lic, lime juice and sea­son­ing to­gether to make a ba­sic gua­camole. Spread it over the taco.

Top with the rest of the in­gre­di­ents and get ready for a se­ri­ous flavour ex­plo­sion.

1 tbs salsa

½ hand­ful shred­ded pur­ple cab­bage

½ hand­ful shred­ded green cab­bage 1 jalapeno, sliced

⅛ av­o­cado, sliced Fresh co­rian­der

½ tsp sesame seeds Fresh lime juice

Spread the salsa onto your taco.

Top with cab­bage fol­lowed by the rest of the in­gre­di­ents and fin­ish with a squeeze of lime juice. Zingy!

1 tbs tinned kid­ney beans

1 tbs tinned black beans 1 tbs corn 1 jalapeno, chopped 3 baby toma­toes, sliced Fresh lime juice

Spread the salsa onto your taco.

Top with beans fol­lowed by the rest of the in­gre­di­ents and a squeeze of lime juice. Too de­li­cious.
