Leafy greens such as kale and spinach in­fuse the drink with vi­ta­mins A and C as well as cal­cium, iron and fo­late.

TO MAKE: Fill a shaker with ice, ½ cup kale or other green juice, 1 cup low-kj ginger ale, 2 tbs lime juice and ½ tbs agave nec­tar. Shake and strain over ice into a salt-rimmed glass. Pierce 3 pieces of crys­tallised ginger with a cock­tail skewer and rest in the glass to gar­nish.

For the boozy al­ter­na­tive, swap ½ cup of the ginger ale with ¼ cup sil­ver tequila.
