Complete your Mexican feast with this healthy alternative to a margarita
Leafy greens such as kale and spinach infuse the drink with vitamins A and C as well as calcium, iron and folate.
TO MAKE: Fill a shaker with ice, ½ cup kale or other green juice, 1 cup low-kj ginger ale, 2 tbs lime juice and ½ tbs agave nectar. Shake and strain over ice into a salt-rimmed glass. Pierce 3 pieces of crystallised ginger with a cocktail skewer and rest in the glass to garnish.
For the boozy alternative, swap ½ cup of the ginger ale with ¼ cup silver tequila.
