In a Cor­nell Univer­sity study, din­ers given kilo­joule counts ended up or­der­ing meals with 3 per cent fewer kjs than those who didn’t know the stats. That was the case for ap­pe­tis­ers and mains, any­way – peo­ple’s dessert and drink or­ders stayed the same. We’re never pass­ing up a pav, to be fair.
