In a Cornell University study, diners given kilojoule counts ended up ordering meals with 3 per cent fewer kjs than those who didn’t know the stats. That was the case for appetisers and mains, anyway – people’s dessert and drink orders stayed the same. We’re never passing up a pav, to be fair.
