Tackling dementia health is the winner of a small discussion which grew to become a ‘Luncheon on the Lake’ on March 17, St Patrick’s Day.

Held at the iconic lakeside property so kindly made available by Margaret and John Marchant, about 130 people enjoyed excellent weather, gourmet food and fun entertainment.

It is believed the day resulted in approximately $10,000 being raised which delighted organizers.

The small committee of women who organised the day were in awe of the help and donations of time, goods and money.

Organisers described the result as amazing, especially after humble beginnings, which also gave guests a great social day out.

It is also a great local financial contribution in managing dementia health which affects so many older Australians.

Margaret Marchant pictured left and John Marchant far right, welcomed guests to their property for the Luncheon on the Lake, on St Patrick’s Day.

Eleven year old Montana Skipper is shaving her head at the Royal Mail Hotel in Mulwala this Saturday to raise money for the Worlds Greatest Shave.
