Reserves showed signs

Yarrawonga Chronicle - - Classies -

Yarrawonga showed positive signs in the first quarter with Bronson Schofield and Chris Wilson busy early only to find themselves down by a goal at the first break.

Albury however came out more determined in the next two quarters outscoring the Pigeons 5 goals to 1. The margin may well have been greater if not for Damon Symes’ superiority in marking contests.

In the last quarter, Ross Mulquiney, Cam Tregenza and Marcus Hargreaves all worked hard to get the Pigeons back in the game but they fell short by 28 points.

But Yarrawonga will be better for the run, with several players having just exchanged their cricket gear to football attire.
