Eastern Regional Awareness Tour

-

Victoria Police’s Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) are partnering with Special Olympics Australia to hit the road to deliver the Eastern Regional Awareness Tour (ERAT) in Yarrawonga on Thursday, September 20 at 4pm at the Yarrawonga Police Station.

The ERAT is an opportunity to share the Flame of Hope with communities across regional Victoria and promote the importance of inclusion and acceptance for people with an intellectual disability.

The LETR are planning to host a Torch Run through Belmore Street in an event that promotes the importance of physical activity and wellbeing.

People with an intellectual disability are the most marginalised members of our community.

Sport is such an amazing opportunity to provide all Australians with social connections and a healthier life.

Representatives from Victoria Police and Special Olympics Australia will be coming to you to help start building more opportunities for people to play sport and feel connected.

Please help by engaging the Yarrawonga Mulwala community and making ERAT an amazing opportunity for people with an intellectual disability in the twin towns to be part of the community.

Please RSVP to Simon Rodder by Monday, September 3 on 0427 469 424 or by email on simonr@specialolympics.com.au.
