Yarrawonga Mulwala is set for another outstanding weekend for the 2018 Lake Mulwala Hot Rod .

Beautiful sunshine is expected for the 600 plus rodders as they roll into town on Friday to spend the weekend at a variety of events designed to not only indulge their own passion but also to embrace the community.

Since it began several years ago the organisation by the Northern Suburbs Street Rods has been outstanding and the locals have turned out in droves to support the events.

Belmore Street will again doubt be alive this Saturday night as the parade of cars roll down Belmore Street. The footpaths are always packed with onlookers, the rock and roll dancers will again be out and local businesses will embrace the bustling atmosphere.

The car owners always enjoy the adulation of the crowd as they cruise up and down the street in their beautiful, shining hot rods, waving, some even giving rides and all having a great time.

After six years there is no longer any question about it, the annual Rod Run has found a perfect home in Yarrawonga Mulwala and we can’t wait to embrace them and welcome them back again.
