Road War­riors to Yar­ra­wonga

A num­ber of mo­tor­bikes will con­verge on Yar­ra­wonga this Satur­day, Novem­ber 24 as The Road War­riors Char­ity Bike Fes­ti­val makes its way to its fi­nal desti­na­tion of the Yar­ra­wonga Show­grounds.

The Road War­riors, led by Cap­tain Amer­ica, will be es­cort­ing chil­dren from the K.I.D.S Foun­da­tion, a foun­da­tion which sup­ports chil­dren and adults liv­ing with se­ri­ous burns and in­juries, from Har­vey Norman in Shep­par­ton to the Yar­ra­wonga Show­grounds with plenty of fun and ac­tiv­i­ties on of­fer.

Mo­tor­cy­cle riders from the district are also in­vited to join the ride to raise money for the very wor­thy cause.

For only $5 en­try (un­der 16s free) with pro­ceeds go­ing to­wards the K.I.D.S Foun­da­tion, a great fam­ily fun day out will be held from 10am to 10pm with live mu­sic, show ‘n’ shine, su­per­heroes meet and greet, kids ac­tiv­i­ties, mo­tor­bike rides and trade and food stalls and bar.

Cap­tain Amer­ica, Su­per­girl, Iron­man, Won- der­woman, Spi­der­man and Bat­man will all also be at the Show­grounds for kids and kids at heart to meet the su­per­hero’s, get a photo and say hello.

Keen mo­tor­bike riders are also in­vited to put their mo­tor­bike in the ‘show n shine’ for $7 per bike for a chance to win tro­phies and prizes.

The ma­jor over­all mo­tor­bike will win $200 cash with the con­di­tion of en­try into the show and shine, that the bike must be ri­den to the show­grounds.

Make sure to make your way to the Yar­ra­wonga Show­grounds this Satur­day to wel­come the chil­dren from the K.I.D.S Foun­da­tion as well as to get a photo and have a chat with your favourite su­per­heroes and join in on all the fam­ily fun.

The Road War­riors Char­ity Bike Fes­ti­val will again fin­ish with a fam­ily fun day and ‘shown n shine’ at the Yar­ra­wonga Show­grounds this Satur­day.
