Popular author visits library

The Yarrawonga Library were pleased to welcome author Darry Fraser to the library on Monday as part of her new book tour.

Darry writes historical and contemporary fiction. Her two previous novels ‘Daughter of the Murray’ and ‘Where the Murray River runs’ have used the majestic Murray River as the backdrop.

Darry’s new novel is set against the backdrop of 19th century Bendigo and the goldfields of Ballarat.

‘The Widow of Ballarat’ is a story of adventure, passion and one woman’s quest for independence.

After a night of violence on the goldfields, Nell’s fate hangs in the balance.
