P-12 Christmas concert

Yarrawonga Chronicle - - Front Page -

Yarrawonga College P – 12 sure know how to put on a show and last weeks prep to year 4 Christmas concert did not disappoint.

Held for the very first time on the lawn of the new site at Gilmore Street, the place looked fabulous with a sea of red and green and of course tinsel.. there was barely a spare spot in the audience.

The place was abuzz with the newest members of the college (the preps) keen to show off their costumes and voices to their eagerly keen parents and grandparents.

And of course the Year 4s, who are now oldhands at this took to the stage and performed out of sight for their last Christmas concert.

MC for the night was the very fabulous and funny Tracie Holgate and not to disappoint the crowd, the man in the big red suit made an appearance in a golf buggy and spoke with the young members of the community.

Event co-ordinator for the night, music teacher Miss Emma Grant could not have been more pleased with the night, giving praise to all her students who gave 110% and their teachers and parents for supporting their amazing performances.

Yarrawonga College would also like to thank Yarrawonga Mulwala Rotary Club for running a sausage sizzle and donating all profits back to the school, together with the Junior School Council selling icypoles as a fundraiser for the college.

Year Three and Four students.

Year One students.

Year Two students.

Prep students sang and danced the evening away.
