Mulwala leads building activity
As usual, Mulwala has received the most building permits over the four-week periods to mid November and mid December in the Federation Council area.
Nine approvals in November included alterations to dwelling, pool house and shed for a Kingfisher Drive home and 12 storage units for McCarthy Street on Mulwala Business Park.
Other permits were: demolition, garage and alfresco, Pimpala Crescent; swimming pool, Wanani Road; four sheds - Pimpala Crescent, Cypress Way, Coobah Road and Wanani Road; hay shed, Spring Drive.
For the four-week period, there was a total of 19 building permits worth a combined value of $M4.5 for the Federation Council area.
From mid November to mid December, Mulwala recorded seven of the council’s 14 permits, which included a dual occupancy dwelling for Sturt Street.
A permit for food shop alterations in Melbourne Street received the go-ahead, as did: carport and pergola, Inglis Street; balcony replacement, Melbourne Street, three sheds – Cypress Way, Grevillea Terrace, Corowa Road.
Council’s 14-issued approvals equated to an overall value of $1.4m.
