Yarrawonga Chronicle - - On The Land -

The UCAN Project is an initiative through Primary Care Connect that aims to create alternative activities for our communities to promote social inclusion, have conversations around our community’s health, and to of course provide new and supported activities.

On January 16 Primary Care Connect will be running a Scavenger Hunt event in Yarrawonga.

Starting at Chinaman’s Island from near the yacht club from 10am-2pm, the event is completely free and suitable for all fitness levels.

PCC Gamblers Help Health Promotion Worker Samantha Spinks said she believes that “Connected and engaged communities are stronger and more supported, so we want everyone to be trying new things and being involved in positive activities as much as possible”.

Bring a group or come along on your own for a gentle walk around the track finding the signs and taking in the world around you.

Feel free to drop in at any time to have some fun and gentle exercise in the summer sunshine.
