from Yarrawonga College P - 12 addressed Lions members providing information on the College Breakfast Program.

On average 140 – 180, Year 5 – 12 students attend a weekly breakfast, with the highest number being 200 at a single breakfast.

Now, due to COVID restricts, teachers do the preparation of egg and bacon rolls, cereal, toast, pancakes, fruit, juice, and milo.

Yarrawonga Lions has been a longstanding supporter of the college across all three campuses and finalizing last year’s disbursements, Past President Denis Griffiths presented a cheque to Jason in the sum of $500 to assist with the purchase of goods for the breakfasts.

Hopefully when restrictions ease members will be able to assist with the preparation of these weekly breakfasts.

Yarrawonga Lions Club strive to help where needed in our community.
