COVID-Safe assistance for local businesses

COVID Safe Business Support Officers will be visiting local businesses over the next few months to help them with COVID safe plans and offer advice on how they can operate safely and within the regulations.

Moira Shire Mayor Mustica urges all businesses to take the opportunity.

“These officers will be able to help businesses prosper as best they can during these difficult times.

“We understand how damaging these constant changes to restrictions have been on businesses, and we want to help as much as we can where we can.

“These officers will be door knocking on businesses over the next few months. They have no enforcement role; they are simply here to offer advice and assistance.”

Cr Mustica also wanted to extend his appreciation to both Shepparton City Council and the Victorian State Government for their contribution to this program.

“This program would not be possible without the support from our partners City of Greater Shepparton, and the funding provided by Victorian State Governments Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions as part of their Business Concierge and Hospitality Support Program.”
