Sacred Heart students get out & about
The students always look forward to the annual Father’s Day Stall but due to remote learning this was not possible this year.
However, as a way to still celebrate, the school had a Drive-thru Sausage Sizzle for the Sacred Heart families from 7.30am – 9am with staff cooking 1000 sausages from 6.30am as a way to celebrate Father’s Day while remote learning.
After the sausage sizzle, students attended their remote learning classrooms before taking part in virtual dress up and character hunt.
Another major part of the school year in Book Week and particularly the Book Week Parade is an especially enjoyable day for the students, with parents putting in many hours and creating some amazing costumes.
Again, remote learning impacted this event so the school celebrated Book Week with a Virtual event, where students were invited to dress up for the morning Google meets classroom
Sacred Heart Primary School had a busy and colourful day last Friday with a Father’s Day Drive-thru Sausage Sizzle held in the morning before students took part in a Book Week Virtual Dress Up and Character Hunt.
