Lions roar to a 123-point win
Mulwala started off strongly in the first quarter and were on the scoreboard early from centre clearances.
Big Owen Conway was allowing onballers in Matt Gorman and Jackson Gash to have first use of the football. Comfortably leading at halftime Coach Rohan didn't want any complacency in the side and was looking for a strong win.
Down back the two captains in Lach Rouel and Dylan McNamara were in full control and making it extremely difficult for the Barooga forwards. Whereas up the other end Jack Sutherland finished with 6 for the day.
Full credit to Barooga who battled hard all day against a committed Mulwala who won comfortably on the day.
Special mention to young Jyda House playing his first Senior game and didn't look out of place.

Reserves
Mulwala 18.19.127 def Barooga 2.3.15.
Reserves played a good open brand of football and didn't allow too many scoring shots for the Barooga side.
The young brigade of the Psaltaris twins, Connor Phibbs and Jett Peters gave the side plenty of run and carry.
Up forward BIG Pumba was getting plenty of it but his kicking foot let him down, even called for the cactus juice to put a bit of spark in his accuracy.

Thirds

The thirds followed on from the fourths with coach Mark House having a well-disciplined side which played well over 4 quarters.
The backline didn't give much space to the Barooga forwards allowing only 3 scoring shots for the day.
There were some terrific patches of ball movement with allowed scoring shots for the forwards, with the side running away with a comfortable win.

With a cold start to the morning it was a great day out for the 4ths with a massive win over Barooga, keeping them to only 1 point.
With Brad in charge as Brandon was away, he had the young boys well drilled across 4 quarters of football.
Constantly running the football from back to forward the Lions placed a lot of pressure on the young Barooga boys and come away with the strong win.
