We are taught to think two-dimensionally, even though we live in a three-dimensional world. It begins with the 2D pages we read in books, continues with whiteboards and blackboards, and it didn’t change as we moved into the computer age. Life will look very different, though, when we make business presentations using 3D infographics. Along with mixed-reality developers, mixed-reality trainers and educators will be needed for a wide range of new knowledge industries. 3D printing will also get faster and better, which will mean new careers for materials engineers. 2035 Body-part maker.

By 2035, we will be able to code our way to better health and cure most diseases. Life expectancy will keep rising, with many people living well beyond 110, while children born in 2035 will have few concerns about how long they will live. Most people will wear a variety of sensors offering real-time monitoring. Gene therapy, along with stem cell medicine, will ensure that we look much younger as we age. For those who still worry about dying, bodypart makers, biohackers and programmable healthcare bots will help keep people running smoothly.
