Beijing will be hosting the XXIV. Winter Olympic Games in 2022.

The Four Hills Tournament (Vierschanzentournee) or the German-austrian Ski Jumping Week (Deutsch-österreichische Skisprung-woche) is composed of four individual ski jumping competitions. It has taken place every year since 1953 on the ski jumps of Oberstdorf and Garmisch-partenkirchen in Germany, as well as Innsbruck and Bischofshofen in Austria.

The Alpine Ski World Cup is organized by the International Ski Federation (FIS). It is composed of the competitions in the alpine skiing disciplines slalom, giant slalom, downhill and super- G. It takes place annually from October to March in several countries.
