A CLOSER LOOK

EU citizens who have lived in Britain for at least five years have until the end of June 2021 to register with the Home Office for “settled status”. This will allow them to stay in the UK after Brexit. The process costs £65 for adults and £32.50 for children under 16. There are concerns that many EU citizens do not know that they need to apply and that they will otherwise face deportation after Britain leaves the EU.
