$150 million: that’s how much the Berlinbased booking platform raised in a huge funding round led by Swedish investment company Kinnevik AB and Singapore venture capital firm Temasek. Started as a search engine for bus, train and airline tickets across Europe, Goeuro has grown into a booking platform with 27 million monthly users, three quarters of whom access it from a mobile device. Despite its name, Goeuro is in no way limited to the eurozone. It already offers ground and air-travel tickets in 36 countries and it’s planning to use the funding to expand into new markets. www.goeuro.com
