One Question

Who am I?

-

I was bullied until I was 15, when I learned how to defend myself using karate, judo and wrestling.

I left Stanford University after just two days of classes.

I am a citizen of three countries: South Africa, Canada and the US, where I currently live.

I have been married three times (twice to the same woman).

I have five surviving children (my first-born son died of SIDS at ten months) — one set of twins and one set of triplets.

My girlfriend, a Canadian musician and visual artist known as Grimes, and I are expecting a child.

My mother, Maye, became Covergirl cosmetic’s oldest spokesmodel at the age of 69.

I have made cameo appearances or voiced animated characters in several movies and television shows, such as Iron Man 2, The Simpsons and The Big Bang Theory. I always play myself. When asked what daily habit has had the largest impact on my life, “showering” was my answer. My dream is to colonize Mars. I believe AI is the biggest existential threat to humanity.

I have signed the “Giving Pledge” along with other billionaires, such as Bill Gates, Sir Richard Branson, Warren Buffett and Mark Zuckerberg. I think I can safely call myself a “serial entrepreneur”: I have founded and served as CEO in companies in the automobile, tech, boring and space industries.

I wanted to name the cars I manufacture models S, E, X and Y. Due to a trademark issue, I had to settle for S, 3, X and Y. Bummer.

Showering has had the largest impact on my life
