In context
Team assistant Ellie is calling travel agent Kyle about arrangements for a rugby team tour of Cape Town.
Ellie: Hi, Kyle. How are you doing?
Kyle: Fine, thanks, Ellie. How are you?
Ellie: I’m good, thanks. I just wanted to go through the arrangements for the upcoming team tour if that’s OK. Is now a good time?
Kyle: Perfect. I have the itinerary in front of me, so
fire away!
Ellie: OK. So, we’ve booked 20 return tickets to Cape Town on 6 September, returning on 11 September. And we’ve reserved ten en-suite twin rooms at the Waterfront Hotel for five nights. Can you remind me what the hotel’s
cancellation policy is?
Kyle: You can cancel the hotel booking free of charge up to one day before your day of arrival and, after that, you will be charged the total price of the booking.
Ellie: OK, thanks. You mentioned a discount if we
completed the booking this week, I think.
Kyle: That’s right. We can get you a 25 per cent group
travel discount on your accommodation, too. Ellie: Great! Will you need just a deposit or the full
amount?
Kyle: The full amount, please.
Ellie: OK, that’s fine. Now, we haven’t talked about
travel cancellation insurance, have we? Could you get me a quote for that, please?
Kyle: Of course.
Ellie: OK. That’s good. What are the travel requirements for South Africa?
Kyle: UK citizens don’t need a visa, but your passports should be valid for at least six months from the date you arrive.you may need to fill out health forms. I’ll check that and get back to you.
Ellie: That’s great, Kyle. Thanks a lot!
