The “St Honoré” by Dior
Barely a year on the market, the new classic is sporting a “New Look” that very much continues the tradition of the brand.
In the best company
Ever since designer Maria Grazia Chiuri took over the creative control at Dior, fashion lovers have had a hard time following the time trends. The Italianborn designer has been creating new desirability and It-bags almost on a regular basis. In addition to the revitalization of the “Saddle Bag”, creations such as the “Bobby”, the “Book Tote” or most recently the “Caro Bag” have become indispensable everyday companions. The “St Honoré” model also joins the (wish)list seamlessly since its premiere during the Cruise Collection 2021.
Noble origin
The model can score points through its unagitated elegance, originally in two different sizes and five colors. Whether made of grained calfskin or smooth box leather, the purist design is convincing, revealing its origins only through the metal snap. Inspired by the Maison‘s flagship store on Rue Saint-honoré, it‘s part of the “30 Montaigne” family of timeless essentials that pay tribute to Dior‘s heritage.
New Look
The end comes with the conservative look: In the current fall/winter 2021/22 collection, the “St Honoré” shows its wild side and draws attention to itself with the leopard looks. This is by no means out of style, the pattern was already represented in the very first collection presented by Christian Dior in 1947. A worthy homage!
