The Synergy of LIFE NECKLACE by Faidee

Faidee has proudly been collaborated with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation for the past couple of years. For this special year, as the Foundation celebrates its 15th anniversary and the 5th edition of the Gala, Faidee created one-of-a-kind masterpiece showcasing the 3 pillars of this year’s Monte-carlo Gala for Planetary Health: Earth, Oceans and Humanity

Each element in this masterpiece has a purpose and they come together to represent the Synergy of Life. The main colours used in the necklace are red and white, the colors of Monaco, with a hint of blue for the ocean and green for the earth.

The Earth is the centre of the necklace, as it is the core of everything we are. We must make sure we are protective of the Earth, as we only have one. We must acknowledge that our human race has made mistakes, but we, through the Montecarlo Gala for Planetary Health and other initiatives of the Foundation, are making a difference and an active effort to revert what has been done.

Furthermore, the fish around the necklace are the most endangered species in our oceans. They are the Mediterranean Monk Seal, Bluefin Tuna, Orange Roughy and Maltese Ray. These fish are some of the rarest “gems” in our oceans and are showcased using the rarest gems, rubies and diamonds. They are represented in red to emphasize that they are endangered. We wanted to bring awareness to these fish and to the fact that they must be protected as part of our efforts. There are countless other fish on the brink of extinction, so everything that we do to save our oceans, is a step towards saving these species.

Finally, the clasp at the back symbolises humanity bringing all of our efforts together. We must hold hands to work together on the initiatives that we have to make the world a better place for all of us to live harmoniously in.

The spectacular necklace is hand-crafted and carefully set by the master artisans at Faidee, with over a thousand pieces of rubies, diamonds, emeralds and sapphires in 18K white and yellow gold.
