METROPOLE - Vienna in English - - FEEDBACK -

In “Nostalgia On My Mind” (p38), one of the sources was missing from the print edition. The author, Roxanne Powell, would like to acknowledge Krystine Batcho for her article “Nostalgia: The Bittersweet History of a Psychological Concept,” which was a major source for the article.

In “How to Learn to Dance in Vienna” (p32) we showed a graphic of dance steps on the top left, which we cited as the polka. In fact, it depicted the steps of the waltz.

In “Traveling Without Moving” (p58), we falsely named Alan Burgon as Artistic Director. He is Creative Director and runs the Open House Theatre together with Artistic Director and main driving force Robert G. Neumayr, who planned and organized White Rabbit Red Rabbit.

In “Quotes & Stats” (p16), the Austrian Schilling was legal tender until February 28, 2002, parallel to the euro which was introduced as an accounting currency on January 1, 1999, and introduced in the form of banknotes and coins on January 1, 2002.
