One moment’s carelessness

An accordion player is driving back from a concert. He stops to get a coffee and, while waiting to pay, remembers that, even though he locked the car, he left the accordion on the back seat. He runs out to discover that he’s too late — the side window of the car has been smashed and somebody has thrown in two more accordions.
