Goat for dinner

A young couple invite the local priest to their house for Sunday dinner. While they are in the kitchen preparing the meal, the priest asks their son what they are having. “Goat,” the little boy replies.

“Goat?” asks the surprised priest. “Are you sure about that?” “Oh, yes,” answers the boy. “I heard Dad say that we might as well have the old goat for dinner today as any other day.”
