Technology has improved the speed and quality of weaving, as well as introduced better stretch fibers that retain their recovery, allowing lighter weight denims to sustain aggressive washes and reducing the percentage of garments damaged in the process.

Our “G2G/garbage to gold” division has existed since 1975 to salvage our returns and damages by upcycling them, forcing us to use our creativity and sometimes resulting in us accidentally creating our best style. At Parasuco, our culture has always been “No wastage”, because we pay for everything, good or bad.

The lack of global intellectual property protection is discouraging designers from creating. Better IP laws similar to those in the music and film industry will promote the creation of hot sellers. We may invest six months to invent/ design something special, only to be ripped off by the same factory producing for us and selling our designs to fast fashion retailers.
