Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva attended a ceremony on presentation of the newly-established Hayat Foundation in Baku.

Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva attended a ceremony on presentation of the newly-established Hayat Foundation in Baku.

Founder of Hayat Foundation Nuran Huseynov, addressing the event, noted that the Foundation aims to breathe new life into the traditions of philanthropy in Azerbaijan, Azertac reported.

“The foundation will assist people and organizations willing to help in giving this help to those in need in a quicker and more effective manner,” he said.

Chief of the State Security Service Madat Guliyev, who also attended the event, also hailed the importance of the establishment of Hayat Foundation.

Starting its activity since 2004, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has been actively participating in building a new society and contributing to the social and economic development of Azerbaijan, by implementing various projects in spheres such as education, public health, culture, sports, science and technology, environment, and social and other spheres.

The major mission of the Foundation is to support socio-economic and humanitarian development within the country and abroad.
