Leyla Aliyeva attends opening of ecological problems exhibition

Organized by Ministry of Youth and Sports, an exhibition on ecological problems and ways of addressing them has been launched at Zira Cultural Center, Baku.

Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union Leyla Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony.

Other participants in the event included Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov, and representatives of youth organizations.

Leyla Aliyeva and Azad Rahimov watched the works created by young people aged 14 to 29 years in various genres of art, including in the style of monumental painting, easel painting, art of ebru, etc.

The exhibition aims to increase the interest of young people in ecology, raise their awareness, support their creative potential and stimulate their social initiatives.

The participants of the event got acquainted with Zira Art Center with Art Studio equipped with teaching aids, creating all the conditions for students to study the subtleties of fine art.

Additionally, the exhibition shows pictures of young artists on an environmental theme.

The earth takes people into its arms, caring for them, creating opportunities for the use of its resources. People who use these resources for many centuries take care of it as well.

Organization of the exhibition "Environmental problems and ways to solve them through the eyes of students" serves precisely this idea. The purpose of the exhibition, organized in accordance with the "Strategy for the Development of Azerbaijani Youth in 2015-2025" is to increase the interest of young people in the environmental sphere, support their creative potential and stimulate their social initiative.

Aliyeva also watched the pantomime performance on an ecological theme with the participation of young actors.
