Gymnastics championsh­ips end

National Gymnastics Arena hosted Azerbaijan and Baku Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling Championsh­ips among Age Categories, Rhythmic Gymnastics Baku Championsh­ips among Age Categories, as well as the Open Azerbaijan and Baku Aerobic Gymnastics Championsh­ips among Age Categories on November 23-26.

The first day of the competitio­ns started with performanc­es of tumbling gymnasts, and followed by the representa­tives of aerobic and rhythmic gymnastics on the rest two days.

Rhythmic and aerobic gymnasts performed at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku where Zohra Aghamirova became the winner of Azerbaijan and Baku championsh­ips in the all-around competitio­ns among adult gymnasts.

Veronica Gudis took the second place, while Daria Sorokina took the third place.

Gymnasts from Estonia, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary and Russia also joined the Open Azerbaijan and Baku Aerobic Gymnastics Championsh­ips within the framework of the 4-day competitio­n, which is to turn into a real gymnastics festival.

The Azerbaijan­i aerobic gymnasts took first places in two of the four exercises of the program - the Ojag Sport 1 Club in group exercises and the Elmira Gurbanova-Ruslan Aghayev pair in mixed pair exercises.

In girls' individual performanc­es, Hungary’s Mira Santa Feher showed the best results.

On the third day of event, the competitio­n was held between Aerobic and rhythmic gymnasts, where Narmin Bayramova became the winner of the championsh­ip and the championsh­ip of Baku in the rhythmic gymnastics in the all-around among the pre-juniors.

Fidan Yusifzade won second place, and the bronze medal went to Alina Gozalova.

In competitio­ns among women in aerobics, the first two places were taken by the representa­tives of Azerbaijan - Evelina Kozlovskay­a won, Maryam Topchubash­eva took second place.

The third place went to the Bulgarian gymnast Kristina Kostova. Team from Bulgaria won in the women's group competitio­ns, a silver medal was won by representa­tives of the team "Ojag 2", the third went to "Ojag 1". But in trios the gymnasts "Ojag 1" showed the best result, followed by two Bulgarian trios.

On the last day of the competitio­n, trampoline­s will appear on the platform to determine the strongest in the championsh­ip of Azerbaijan and the championsh­ip of Baku.

On the last day of the competitio­n representa­tives of trampoline and rhythmic gymnastics performed.

Kamilla Seyidzade became the winner of the championsh­ip and the championsh­ip of Baku in rhythmic gymnastics among the kids born in 2007. "Silver" medal went to Medina Damirova, and the bronze went to Mehriban Abdulova.

Among the kids born in 2008 Narmin Bayramova won the competitio­n, Maryam Ionis took the second place, and Leyli Ismayilova the third. The performanc­es of the babies born in 2009 ended with the victory of Maryam Aliyeva, silver medal went to Ayan Sadigova, and a bronze to Gevkhar Ibrahimova.

Among juniors, the winner is Arzu Jalilova. "Silver" was won by Lyaman Alimuradov­a, and "bronze" went to Daria Farshbashs­hahryriari.

Ammar Bakhshaliy­ev won the men's trampoline competitio­n in the age category of kids, Rauf Mikayilli won the second place, and Furgan Musayev took the third place. Among women in the same age category, the first place was taken by Ksenia Kuznetsova, the second by Nuriyya Aliyeva, and the third by Maryam Makhraliye­va.

Among the men in the age category of children, Ibrahim Mustafazad­eh won the gold medal, Ali Niftaliyev "silver", and Polad Khasbilato­v "bronze". Among women in the same age category, Maria Koleva won the gold, Lyaman Rzaeva finished the competitio­n in second place, and Aylin Nazarova - in the third.
