Winners of Miss & Mister Azerbaijan 2018 named

MSome 33 models, including 18 handsome men and 15 beautiful women joined the semi-final with hopes of winning the prestigious title, Trend Life reported.

The project lasted eight months, during which the participants underwent special training in model choreography and theoretical training, took part in various defile and social events, and also learned to work with photographers and videographers, Trend Life reported.

The gala evening was opened by performance of the popular "Şeron" group and the "Yalla" dance by the finalists of the contest in national dresses. The hosts of the evening were Shirmammad Huseynov and Kamila Zeynalova.

Further the finalists appeared before the jury in the collections of women's and men's clothing from the House of Fashion SS Dilrupa Hasanli.

Then models walked along the catwalk in luxurious cocktail dresses from the brand ELDELL and a marginal collection of designer Fikret Aliyev. The jury evaluated finalists on a 10-point system.

The jury included the founder and main organizer of the national beauty contest Miss & Mister Azerbaijan Anelia Ordukhanova, the executive director of the contest Amil Abbasov, the head of Avenue Hotel Sabit Rzayev, the director and screenwriter Kanan MM, Şeron group art director, musician and composer Rustam Zeynalli, designer Fikrat Aliyev, fashion designer Dilruba Hasanli, director Mario Russo Ruslan Mammadov, I Vice Miss Azerbaijan 2017 Gulnar Isayeva, Mister Azerbaijan 2017 Ali Huseynov and II Vice Telegra Bakhruzi.

Narmin Hajiyeva and Shakir Ahmadzade were named Miss & Mister Azerbaijan.
