New Trade House opens in China

The Trade House of Azer­bai­jan opened in the Chi­nese city, Luzhou.

The 600 km area fea­tures food and non-food Azer­bai­jani prod­ucts, tea, min­eral wa­ter, al­co­holic bev­er­ages, fruits, and veg­eta­bles.

Vice Pres­i­dent of the Chi­nese Cham­ber of Com­merce for Ex­port and Im­port of Food Prod­ucts Su Siaohu noted that the Trad­ing House of Azer­bai­jan opened in China will be a new stage of trade and eco­nomic co­op­er­a­tion. It will also play an im­por­tant role in terms of pop­u­lar­iz­ing Azer­bai­jani prod­ucts among Chi­nese buy­ers.

Azer­bai­jani Am­bas­sador to China Akram Zey­nalli said that this Trade House will not only present Azer­bai­jani prod­ucts, but also cre­ate con­di­tions for the wide dis­sem­i­na­tion of in­for­ma­tion about the coun­try's eco­nomic, tourist, trans­port and lo­gis­tics po­ten­tial in Luzhou.

Azer­bai­jan con­tin­ues to sig­nif­i­cantly ex­pand the num­ber of its trade and wine houses abroad.

The first Azer­bai­jani Wine House was opened in Urumqi, China on Septem­ber 2. Var­i­ous types of Azer­bai­jani wines with spe­cial taste and qual­ity was shown at the ex­hi­bi­tion of Wine House.

In gen­eral, Azer­bai­jan has been ac­tively pro­mot­ing its brand in for­eign coun­tries in re­cent years. At present the Azer­bai­jani Trade Houses op­er­ate in Ukraine, Be­larus and Latvia.

Trade Houses sup­port the pro­mo­tion of Azer­bai­jani prod­ucts un­der the brand “Made in Azer­bai­jan”.

Ac­cord­ing to the fig­ures for 2017, 92 trade­marks of Azer­bai­jan are pro­tected un­der this brand, while the coun­try’s to­tal out­put nears 250 kinds of prod­ucts in food, light, heavy and con­struc­tion in­dus­tries. The brand is highly suc­cess­ful in re­gional and world mar­kets, as Azer­bai­jan’s lo­cal out­put meets all the nec­es­sary stan­dards.
