Innovative products, services showcased at Heydar Aliyev Center
Azerbaijan's Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies installed its own pavilion at the Heydar Aliyev Center as part of the 6th Baku Humanitarian Forum.
Held under the slogan "Shaping a New World and a New Humanity: Creativity and Human Development", the 6th Baku International Humanitarian Forum brought together 581 delegates from 86 countries and 24 international organizations. VicePresident of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva viewed the pavilion on October 26.
The pavilion, where innovative products and services, successful applications of startups are demonstrated, consists of four zones: Robopark, I2B from idea to business, Startups and Commercialized projects.
Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade informed the VicePresident of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation about the pavilion. He stressed that courses of robotics, drones, devices working on wind energy, robots that are capabled to recognize and distinguish colors in the appropriate order and locate various objects are demonstrated here.
The international digital platform of art and culture Google Art & Culture, which promotes the digital cultural population of Azerbaijan, also operates in the "Commercialized Projects" section. Moreover, digital content of hundreds of organizations, various events, objects, as well as several Azerbaijani museums are presented at the pavilion.
The section also demonstrates "Virtual Surgery", which will attract the attention of visitors. This project allows to achieve high functional and aesthetic results in regenerative surgery through the use of digital technologies. Each of these projects received a grant from the State Fund for the Development of Information Technologies under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies and became a startup project that is a resident of the High-Tech Park.
In addition, three startups-winners selected from the country's higher educational institutions also presented their inventions as part of "From Idea to Business" project. These are "Rescue Bracelet", "Smart Home" and "Virtual Tour".
It was noted that startups, participants of which received education abroad, can also show their products at the pavilion of the ministry. For example, ZoomX, a startup, participants of which pursued master's degree in Estonia, demonstrated glasses that serve to balance visual acuity.
Another exhibit of the pavilion Wake Me Up application, designed for car drivers, will be useful for logistics, passenger traffic and longdistance drivers. A convenient and innovative software device prevents unplanned sleep.
Another application presented at the exhibition is Camtouch, which allows you to trigger any static image.
Braille Teach's social value device makes it easy for people with poor eyesight to learn the alphabet with a touch of the finger.
The pavilion continued its work within the framework of "Innovation weeks" called "InnoExpo".
At the same time, the exhibition featured innovative start-up projects and services of the organizers of Global Influencer Day - Keepface DMCC and FA International Trade Events.
