Book Center hosts meeting with Indian yogi and mystic
B aku Book Center hosted a meeting with a recognized Indian yogi and mystic Sadhguru (Jaggi Vasudev) and a presentation of his book "Inner Engineering: Technologies for Wellbeing.”
Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva attended the event. The presentation heard very interesting remarks from Sadhguru.
The Indian yogi and mystic thinks that people make serious calls to live in peace and joy on the planet, and often complicate the simple.
Suffering has two reasons: memory and unlimited imagination. Sadhguru believes that a person should not adjust the world for himself, but adapt to the world and be able to live in harmony.
The Indian yogi and mystic responded to the questions from the audience.
Jaggi Vasudev also delivered a lecture at the Heydar Aliyev Center, which was also attended by Vicepresident of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva.
The subject of his presentation was "Inner Engineering: Technologies for Wellbeing".
The subject constitutes a comprehensive system derived from centuries-old yoga studies aiming at profound and sustainable personal transformation. This includes techniques to accomplish harmony by bringing together human body, mind, senses, and energy to the culmination. No physical training or knowledge of yoga is required, and the techniques are easily adaptable to any lifestyle.
The lecture featured interesting arguments about the means of wise control over the body and emotions, the inner world of man.
The Indian yogi believes that today's society consists of people living in the most comfortable conditions in the history of mankind. In reality, a person creates unpleasant situations for himself, Sadhguru noted. The feelings of a person can lead to various catastrophes in his life.
The event was followed by the Q&A session.
The signing ceremony of the book "Inner Engineering: Technologies for Wellbeing" was held as well.
One of India’s 50 most recognized personalities, Sadhguru is a yogi, mystic and a bestselling author dedicated to the improvement of human spiritual and physical condition.
