The importance of associations of businessmen and the contribution they have made by activities on relations between countries in this rapidly evolving world economy is increasing. We would like to introduce you with TUSIAB – which calls for “a reliable address of Turkish businessmen in Azerbaijan” operating in Azerbaijan.

International Association of Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen of Azerbaijan ( TUSIAB) was established in Baku, November 16, 1994 with the aim to help the activities of Turkish businessmen and provide investments in Azerbaijan.

TUSIAB began its activities with the aim of consolidation, solidarity and cooperation among the members of the association, making contribution to the economic relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey to improve friendship and fraternity based on the unity of language, religion and history, and also received blessing prayers of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.

TUSIAB contributes to the development of economic, social and cultural relations, between two countries, provides hundreds of businessmen who are willing to invest in Azerbaijan with information about this country, and also provides active participation of our members in trade fairs. Thus, there was strong emphasis for recognition of the Azerbaijan market and made efforts to increase “Made in Turkey” market share and quali- ty, and continue to be performed.

TUSIAB’s member companies operate within Azerbaijan. Turkish and partner companies established in Baku, Ganja, Sumgait, Zagatala, Goychay, Absheron, Tovuz, Gabala, Sheki, Hajigabul, Shamakhi, Agdaş, Lankaran and other cities and towns increasingly continue their activities. Turkish investments are in the first place among Azerbaijan's non-oil foreign investments. Investment amount of up to 300 Turkish companies and businessmen operating in industry and manufacturing, telecommunications, construction, contracting, media, food, textile, education, health, banking and insurance, transport, automotive, as well as oil the sphere has reached 7.5 billion U.S. dollars. Employment of more than 50 thousand skilled and unskilled workers employed in these companies show full volume of a working progress.

Besides business, social, cultural and sporting activities, TUSIAB also serves consultancy services. It helps businessmen in company organizations (Anonymous, Limited, Representative, and the company off, etc.), “Of Contracts”, “Partner” transactions, visa transactions consultancy services.

TUSIAB organizes “Training seminars” for businessmen to ensure their development in all aspects of life. Alongside with knowledge transfer, briefings, sectoral commission studies, translation and notary services TUSIAB, has also been serving its members by constantly updated website www.tu- siab.org, monthly “Bulletin” which provides information about our activities and economy and “DIALOGUE” – a magazine of business world which published on a quarterly basis.
