Desktop panel Methodology
Independent research, conducted offline on a regular basis by Ipsos. The offline data is used to determine the Internet universe per country under the study. These data are then used in designing the panel demographic structure as well as weighting of the data collected. Surveys displayed to a random sample of Internet users. Recruitment is done through various methods including scripted websites, facebook campaigns, e-mails ….others This surveys are done for the purpose of collecting the sociodemographic profiles of the Internet audience and other product/ lifestyle data.

It is a very simple process: after respondents agree to take part in a 2-month panel, they first download an app, which then seamlessly records all of their smartphone-based interactions for the study’s duration.
