An addictive game for Classic Burger Joint (CBJ) that went viral thanks to the close partnership between the Classic Burger Joint (the brand), Wondereight (the agency) and Virgin Radio (the media), that has enabled them to fully synchronise online and offline media. Topping the charts for three weeks in a row in both Apple Store and Google Play, Burger Attack was the first “branded/commercial” App/game in the MENA region with such a success. The different parties wanted to test and measure the effect of social media and radio advertising on mobile game downloads. The results surpassed the expected reach by 1000% and hit 230,000 downloads in less than two months! The participation level was so high that they had to end the game finale in CBJ’S Jal el Dib branch were they invited the top 20 participants with the highest scores to compete live on radio.
