Omnicom Media Group MENA accredited by GPI
Omnicom Media Group MENA has been accredited by the Global Reporting Index (GRI), which, according to the company, makes them the first media agency in the MENA region and the second globally to have received such accreditation. The GRI is a non-profit organisation that promotes economic sustainability. Omnicom Media Group MENA has chosen to adhere to their G4 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines, as well as take initial steps towards joining the UN’S Global Compact (UNGC) initiative, to measure the impact and performance in sustainability. The agency plans to produce the GRI Sustainability Report on an annual basis in order to integrate sustainability more firmly into its business strategy, positively engage the staff as well as monitor progression in all the spheres in which it operates. In the first annual sustainability report, a message from Omnicom Media Group MENA’S CEO, Elie Khouri, reads: “The perenniality of a company is deeply rooted in its long-term vision and its ability to consider all the factors contributing to, or impeding its future viability.”
