Google Launches Exclusive Paid Video Service

Youtube announced the launch of Youtube Red the exclusive video sharing service with paid subscription of $10 per month. The subscribers will enjoy the following benefits: No ads will be displayed on the website nor in video; Watching videos offline, up to 30 days from any device; Listening to Google Play Music; Watching exclusive videos, series & movies. The service will be limited at the beginning for US residents. Later to expand worldwide. It appears that Google is trying to diversify the revenue streams by launching this service and this probably will be entry point to compete with the video on demand websites such as Netflix & Hulu? Time will tell.
