Lebanese Outdoor Companies on Instagram

-

Local Out-of-home advertising companies can better leverage their Instagram strategy by engaging their followers through special hashtags aiming to assess the ads they recall the most and maybe build on such insights for future reference. Wondering what outdoor companies are up to on Instagram these days? Take a quick look at our five account picks for this month.

Pikasso @pikassolawhat

Leading OOH company Pikasso is the most active on the platform in terms of posting frequency, with a total of over 490 posts to date. They generally publish casual pictures of their latest billboards, unipoles and digital ads, captured in various areas across the country in addition to occasional shots of their staff (live from their offices or taken at a certain event). Their most used hashtags include #Pikasso, #OOH and #Lebanon.

Molip Plus @molipplus Promomedia @promomedianetworks

Promomedia Networks do not share isolated pictures of their outdoor ads but prefer to picture them as seen from a distance on Lebanese roads. They also post photos of their team and tips covering different aspects of OOH advertising, from colour combination and contrast to relevant numbers and statistics about people’s response to outdoor advertising and how it can affect their shopping decisions. With over 2,400 followers to date, this advertising agency is one of the most engaging among its counterparts on Instagram even though their posting frequency is among the lowest on this list. They do not only share pictures of their OOH creations but mostly create special designs for their Instagram posts and dedicate a number of their posts to showcase creative/ inspiring outdoor advertising ideas and examples.

Group Plus Media @groupplusmedia

Group Plus Media are the most systematic in their approach, posting regular collages of their LEDS, signs and airport advertisements, on a four photos per collage basis (template). Their most used hashtags include #Groupplusmedia, #Advertising, #Advertisinglebanon and #Adsoflebanon. They also repost images from other accounts and have occasional competitions on their Instagram page.
