Act Responsibl­e Cannes Tributes 2016

The ACT Responsibl­e Cannes Tribute is a distinctio­n given to outstandin­g works for good causes. It is the general public vote that decides which agency should receive a tribute. The public was able to vote through an online platform (1 vote= 1 point) as well as on site, at the exhibition in Cannes (1 vote = 3 points). The idea behind this tribute is to reward all of the agencies who have given their talent and creativity towards promoting a good cause as well as increasing the visibility of the favourite campaigns as much as possible. Voting took place from over a month and was divided into four categories : Planet, Human Rights, Education, Solidarity. Out of the 1100 campaigns identified since June 2015 in the ACT Responsibl­e database, 440 were shortliste­d to be part of the exhibition and 79 campaigns were showcased in the exhibition (16 in the Planet section, 19 in Education, 22 in Solidarity and 22 in Human Rights). The 2016 exhibition gathered 63 agencies, 71 advertiser­s from more than 30 countries. Over 6500 votes were collected this year and 12 Tributes (3 in each theme) were distribute­d.
