of all, I be­lieve that Dubai is not the cre­ative hub of the Mid­dle East re­gion, but one of the main cre­ative hubs in the re­gion along with Beirut and Cairo. What has made Dubai a main cre­ative hub is the fact that most multi­na­tional and re­gional clients tend to have their re­gional head­quar­ters in Dubai. This has made Dubai a nat­u­ral choice for agen­cies to set up their head­quar­ters there as well. More­over, given the po­lit­i­cal and eco­nomic sta­bil­ity of the UAE and the at­trac­tive stan­dard of liv­ing, Dubai has man­aged to at­tract some of the best global tal­ents in the com­mu­ni­ca­tion world. I think it is im­por­tant for all of us to start push­ing for award-win­ning work to be cre­ated in cru­cial mar­kets like Saudi Ara­bia and in other im­por­tant mar­kets like Qatar and Kuwait.
