Saluting the Lebanese Army
Again and like each year, August 1 is an opportunity to renew feeling of community, solidarity and patriotism. Ad agencies and brands have indeed rolled out advertising messages to renew their appreciation and support to the Lebanese Army on Army Day. Like each year too, most of the messages comprises a sofa, a chair, a bedspread, a car, a mobile device, a make up kit, a beach parasol, a bottle of water and the list goes on, all dressed in camouflage prints often through distasteful punning to promote and greet the Lebanese Army. Yet other messages manage to be way more creative. Here’s a snapshot of some of the best, the good and the ugly.
