Adidas and Female Artists Create Sneakers for a Good Cause

Adidas is showing its love and support for the ladies by having a group of female artists create a series of custom shoes. In collaboration with media site Refinery29, the artists have created 50 custom kicks representing all 50 US states.

Dubbed the BOOST the Nation project, the collaboration brings together the work of celebrated female artists. Each artists was tasked with interpreting the landmarks, culture and landscape of a set of states and reimagining it on the triple white adidas Boost X sneaker. The sneakers were auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds going towards Women Win, an organisation that empowers girls to build leadership skills and strive for gender equality through sport.
