When going to a movie theater becomes a grand experience

Going to a movie theatre can still be an experience like no other. In this world of increased media fragmentat­ion, Grand Cinemas’ management is aware that an immersive theater experience is a must to entice audiences, hence have spared no efforts, all through the years, to satisfy moviegoers who are engaged, captivated and hungry for entertainm­ent.

As a matter of fact, Grand Cinemas’ growing national network of theaters consists of the most modern, innovative and comfortabl­e venues nationwide.

Dedicated to providing all guests with an irresistib­le moviegoing experience, Grand Cinemas has provided entertainm­ent to Lebanon since 2007.

Establishe­d in 2000 in the UAE, and introduced into the Levant ten years ago under the ownership of Selim Ramia, the Grand Cinemas brand has become a statement of quality entertainm­ent throughout the Middle East.

“As a successful Lebanese-owned company abroad, we simply felt it’s time we broke the duopoly in the country and introduce the Grand Experience to Lebanese movie lovers, and open the market to all films, hence equally release all the available titles at all cinema locations across the country, explains Jean Ramia of Grand Cinemas.

The latest multiplex launched at ABC Verdun is the jewel in the Grand Cinemas crown. The brand new movie theater bolsters for the first time in the Middle East an MX4D theater featuring Premium Dolby Atmos Sound System, for an immersive sound, which allows guests to “feel the action.” All theaters are also equipped with Volfoni Chrystal laser projectors, in addition to a in-lobby biggest and largest LED video wall in the region.

Grand Cinemas is keen to offer film fans a unique movie-watching experience. It is worth mentioning that the company has introduced the country’s very first VIP cinema theatre.

“Today, more than ever, audiences have discrimina­ting tastes and high expectatio­ns. We take great pride in our customer service and delivering the best in film and are confident we will exceed our customers’ demands,” says Jean Ramia.

Grand Cinemas counts over six cinema locations, four of which are in Central Lebanon, one in Enfeh North Lebanon and one in The Spot Saidasouth of the country.

In 2012, Grand Cinemas revamped its image to put the brand at the forefront of innovation and center around the brand’s motto “Always Entertaini­ng”, after which all the campaigns and promotions launched were supporting the brand promise.

July 2017 marked the 10th year anniversar­y of Grand Cinemas in Lebanon and the Levant. “It just feels like the beginning, notes Ramia, “as we turn our head now to several projects underway in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and also in Lebanon, which will all be announced very soon.”
